The chapter frames the whole thing geographically at both ends — do not do as they do in Egypt where you lived, or in Canaan where I am bringing you, and the land vomits out those who defile it, including you. Dropped into the middle is the Molech prohibition, and near the end the two verses that make this the most contested chapter in the book.
